Flying a Korean Orchestra around Europe

There were several challenges to overcome when an entertainment industry logistics company asked us to help organise a multi-stop charter in Europe for a Korean  Orchestra’s music tour.

Our Solution

Route: Maastricht > Vienna > London

Aircraft: Boeing B737-800

Faced with limited charter aircraft availability in the local market, we used our superior buying power to source a Boeing B737-800 that was within the client’s budget and had enough space for the large group of 130 passengers and their instruments.

Airport staff shortages and caps on passenger capacity meant the charter couldn’t leave from Amsterdam and Eindhoven as planned, so our quick-thinking team arranged to depart from Maastricht instead.

One of our experts was on-hand at the airport to quickly resolve any last-minute issues that arose. This included opening the check-in desk early and getting special permission for one passenger to fly despite having forgotten his passport.

The Finer Details

Unrivalled Convenience: Chartering with ACS meant the orchestra could fly together on one aircraft with their equipment.

Extra Touches: We arranged a complimentary hot meal and soft drinks during the flight.
